Hi there all.. I recently had 2 Jeep libertys come into my family 2002 in 2006. honestly, they've both been a little disappointing but we're dealing with it.

First one, the 2002 had to have its engine replaced

The second one 2006 passenger side wheel bearing failed and the wheel literally fell off the vehicle. Slow-speed fortunately.

We've been having some difficult to diagnose or repair problems and I was hoping I might get some help on this forum

Most recently, or ongoing. When the motor was replaced in the 2002 it was noticed that the studs that are on the back end of the motor, firewall side jumped out of their mounting slots.
The slots are only Vs or notches that are cut into the frame.
Has anyone had this sort of problem? And does anyone know what the could be and what the correct repair for it might be?
I'm not a do-it-yourselfer but I have a fairly confident mechanic that doesn't seem to be able to figure it out. I can only assume that the engine mounts were replaced when the new engine was installed. 3.7L 6 cylinder.

I will post pictures just as soon as I can figure out how to do it on this site.

Thanks in advance for any help
