Hello. Just joined and happy to be here.
I am trying to install a back up camera in my 07 Liberty but cant figure out which wire is for the reverse circuit. I saw some posts about this but not really resolved. Does anyone know? I would assume others have added these cameras, as well. I saw a post by Billwill mentioning the wiring diagrams for the 07 were impossible to find. I wonder why that is. Is there something special about that year / Model?
Any help is much appreciated!!

Ya the 07 FSM is not available as a pdf online.
Do you live close to a dealer?
If so they may have a wiring diagram available ?
The 07 was a transition year where many kk (08) parts were used like a new pcv system for instance.
I wonder if you could just tap into the reverse bulb wire...??

Thanks for the response!
I found the reverse trigger wire. (white w/brown tracer if anyone needs in the future)
It was a PITA since the Liberty has a single connector going to a printed circuit board on the tail light.

BTW: Please excuse my ignorance but what does KJ and KK stand for?
I realize it was a model change from 07 to 08 but are they acronyms?
The 07 was recommended to me by someone who loves the Liberty and have had great luck with it except for a few of the typical failures. Also considering a tire upgrade but i would prefer not to lift it, if possible. Anyone know how large I can go with stock suspension?

All jeeps have designated letters for jeep model .
The Liberty 02 to 07 is a KJ.
The Liberty 08 to 12 is a KK
What size of tires are on your kj now?

The KK I believe is based on the Dodge Nitro.....much more space inside for passengers and luggage but in my opinion not as "Jeep" in looks as the KJ. I have had my 2002 Export 2.5 CRD since 11th May 2002 and love it to bits!:)

It has 225/75/16s on it now. they are stock. I would like to go as big as I can without altering the suspension.
From some other threads I have seen it sounds like 245/75/16 is the largest I can go without modification.

Ya I would say the 245/75/16 may be ok. Once mounted hopefully they wont rub.
If you measure from Center of wheel cap to beginning of fender flare, what is the measurement?

That is good, springs have not sagged that much.
Give the 245 75 16's a try then.
