I was told that I needed a new TCM, my part number is P56044192AE. I can't find and others that end in AE, onlu AA, AD, AF and so on. Will those also work or do I have to have one that ends in AE?

Those last two characters are the Revision number...using a higher revision number is always better as some improvements may have been made...so AF is better than AE.;)

So was told the last letters were just revisions like AF was better than AE. I ended up getting one off eBay, part number: P56044192AF for pretty cheap. Took the old one off and put the new to me one on and everything went back to working fine.

As long as the numbers and the second to last character are the same you're golden.

P56044192 AE is my part number.
So I need the same part number and the letter A to match?

Yep. As stated, the later you can find the second letter the better (like if you can find an "AF").

Gotcha! I wasn't aware that the AF had the same numbers as mine. Thanks!
