Shouldn't there be a rubber spring seat under that front coil spring, on the bottom?

I don’t believe so. Out of the three sets I have none of them have a rubber isolator there that I can remember. I’ll have to take a look again now.

If those are the JBA Adjust-a-strut coilovers, then probably not.. I can't tell what they are. I just know that an OE style, non-adjustable shock/coil spring assembly calls for a top and bottom seat.

I just ordered new bottoms for my OME parts that arrived.. forgot to get them, as the top mounts came with. I presume everyone running the bilstein/OME setup is using two per side as well.

Ah that makes sense... those aren't designed for use with a lower (or upper) spring seat as best as I can tell from Marlin's photos.

Was just curious.. as it stuck out at me. Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks. He says this part only works for up to '06 and I have n '07, though... I'll probably still order it to try andmodify it if need be. Until then, I'll have it wedged in place :gr_grin:

got the Dorman 973-023 Blower Motor Resistor for Chrysler Sebring/Stratus today
1-3 and 4 all work now!
left it pointing up between back of glovebox and dash part and drove 20 mins to lunch and back
Smelling something after 10 mins. after 20 im back, opened glovebox, and could feet heat, reached out (like a fool no gloves) and finger hit one of the points sticking out of the green block... WOW HOT! Like totally burned index finger.

So, should it be getting that hot?

Does position 2 work? You should have 1-2-3-4 working.
Heat ahh, I would assume they do get hot, but I never touched one before!...ouch..
It was meant to be placed back into the proper slot.
The correct placement of the resistor block is such that the blower motor may help to cool it? IDK ?? Bill might know.

I would assume that's why it inserts into the duct, so the air movement helps to cool it.

I was thinking the one on the right. Why the middle?

No coolant nipple threaded into the side so I figured it had a Weeks kit eliminating the soot producer, ergo less soot and abrasion run through the intake.

How did you end up with three? You must have many colors!

Ah I see, I took off the coolant nipple in it though. Unfortunately none of these heads had the egr deleted.

I have 4 CRDs currently sitting here two with rods thrown through the block plus one extra motor. I’m currently doing the head gasket on one to get it back on the road and the other is my fathers which he drives every day.

Got her inspected and registered today. 2nd set of turn signals came in and were Amber, unlike the pictures. At least this time I don't have to pay for returns, as they are through eBay.

Baffled by a baffle... :Insane:

I know, I should have known.

Trimmed my fascia and fascia support bracket for my towbar bracketry to fit up, down, around, and through it. Some tow bracketry 3/8" bolt jammed it's threads and bent so it's head had to come off.

Also, sounds like either the tensioner or idler bearing just took a crap... again. Something under the hood sounds like a bag of smashed marbles rolling around.
did that back on 09/17/2014 at 54,398 miles. :favorites68:

The rear braking plates are well exposed & can rust area/ the rivets easily.

I had to wire brush, hand paint & some spray, with 6 coats to hopefully save them.

Every 2 years inspect the rear interior ebrake shoes & rivets.

Give a little squirt of oil into the rivets if you can too.

Replacing the backing plate..well...no fun.
