Torque converter issue

Hello I have an 05 with the greens eco tune egr delete in it. Also I got all the stuff from Sasquatch to remove all emissions stuff and added the intake heater. The little crd has been stuttering at around 50 to 60 mph. I figured it was the tc locking and unlocking. Fluid is perfect. Today going up hill I gave it some hot supper and the tac went to 4 grand and I lost forward and reverse. Fluid still nice. I didn’t drop the pan yet. It’s not the rear end or transfer case. A little noisy from the bell housing area. Any thoughts

It could be the torque converter, but more likely an internal failure in the transmission. How many miles on it?

Sorry about your luck, this is probably gonna be expensive.

They've eaten lots of torque converters.

Look into Suncoast, euro, and hemi torque converters.

I’ve looked at all of them. Florida tc makes some good ones. I’ve never just had one blue up in something so small. I’ve stretched the finns in one in my Cummins pull truck.

I've only felt "shudder" in mine a few times.

Transgo shift kits are popular although I don't remember why.

I lost second and reverse on a Ford c-4... (boom) A broken band dropped parts into the linkage blocking reverse. Dropped the pan, piece fell out, got reverse back and didn't get second back until I rebuilt it.
