Old Stock Shock or new KYB?

02 Limited V6 4wd 160kmiles

I dont know how old the OEM shocks are. They look good. If they are still good, Would new KYB KG5039 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock make a noticeable improvement or are they just like stock?
I dont want to spend a lot of money as lately, the car doesnt get much use.

also: I think this is stock height, or is it factory worn-in height??

Front is 19in
Rear is 18 1/2

Front and rear both are sagged if produced before April 12, 2002
Before that date it would of been 19.75 inches
Have to replace both springs and shocks.
Just replacing shocks is like buying a new pair of socks with holes in your shoes .

Yes Thank you, I know the car had suspension work done but not sure about what & when. I also wasnt sure about the height but thanks -I have a box of Moog 81059 for the rear. The fronts -maybe next month :Insane:

Best I can tell KYB KG5039 Gas-a-Just Gas Shocks are a little better than stock and also better then the $20 KYB 344404 Excel-G. Is this correct? :help:

I put KYB's on all 4 corners of mine. complete kit for front including new springs, and added Moog springs to rear. but mine is an 06 and was sitting about 1.5" low.

I am happy with it.

did you use the silver Gas-a-Just Gas Shocks or the black Excel-G Gas Shock??
