No Joke. This works for Firefox and Chrome browsers.

Install the addon listed below for appropriate browser you're using. You may need to clear your cookies and site cache for it to work but I didn't need to.

This addon will fool photoballs into thinking you're accessing the image from their site and allow it to load.

Photoshit will "fix" their code to block this from working eventually so if we can get people to download the photos and text I'm willing to set up a webserver and host/archive them incase they go down again.

I will get a public google drive setup for you guys to dump the pics/text into with an example folder tonight after work.

If you're a thread author and don't want to have them archived then I suggest switching to Imgur or another image host and editing the picture urls in your posts.

If anyone needs help send me a PM and I will assist you.

I'm running Waterfox and it won't allow me to install the AddOn. :blah:

I am too, but it's not the first time that has happened. I'm going to look up the about:config setting for addon signing and see if a recent update might have bumped it back into paranoia mode.

So Waterfox ran an update Wednesday night which blew out everything: Bookmarks, Saved Logins, Extensions, etc. I spent two days restoring everything. (I'm a big fan of backups, thank goodness.)

As some sort of odd compensation, the Fix-Photoshuckit extension will install now. Now I'm looking for a picture-heavy thread to test it out. :)

This is great except it only works on desktop computers. Horrible decision by Photobucket to do this. I know it doesn’t help those who have hosted hundreds or thousands of pictures, but Imgur worked great for my photos.
