Hey, what's up! Just got my '02 kj last week, and I love it. I bought it to be a baby hauler and winter rig. The wife's about to pop, so that means we'll have a toddler and an infant to pack around. Ever try to put one of those two into the back of a little 2 door coupe? It's not pleasant to say the least... Not interested in trying to get both in at once!

Anyway, I thought I should register for a forum early on, since e46fanatics.com was such a huge resource when doing my engine swap last winter.

Don't fret, I know how to search!

Another reason I wanted to join is that I never had a 4x4 before, and I'm definitely looking forward to getting some offroad time. So I'll be looking for and researching mods and lifts and such and so forth. Conversions, that sort of thing.

I don't know if it's a pipe dream or not, but I'd love to mod this thing to have the aesthetics of the 05 hurricane concept truck. That thing looks amazing, and it looks like a KJ front end, if you catch my meaning.

Welcome
and since you can search, plenty to read through here and LOSTJEEPs two best sites for KJs
Making yours look like the " Hurricane" would take deep pockets for sure LOL
Lifts, plenty to read through as well, just stay away from any spacer, Skyjackers, Rustys , RRO, etc and you'll be fine
and no do not say well I'll never take it off road so I can go cheaper :happy175:
Good luck and pictures are a must ! LOL
