New member have a few questions

Hi
I just bought a very cheap 03 KJ sport in non-running condition the buyer told me that the engine is fried but I don't know since it's not running and throwing a P0320 code. I don't have access to Mitchell onlines or Hayes could you guys help me and guide me with what parts are missing on this truck?

(The seller told me that it used to start but hed had to hold the throttle for it to stay alive) Engine cranks but no fire(I guess due to the missing parts)

Thanks guys

It looks like you are missing an ignition coil and you might check to see if there is a spark plug down there as well.

Is the fuel rail wrapped in something? Or are they normally black on 03s?

Thanks I will buy an ignition coil this week end and give it a try. Do you have an idea what the other plugs are since there are 3 of those without no connections just hanging loose there?

You don't get codes with the battery disconnected :happy175:(beer) (I took off the battery to clean up to spot leaks and missing stuff easier it's also getting replaced with a proper battery with the proper CCA)

well the AC compressor is MIA.

for your 3rd picture, does that go to your low side AC sensor which should be on the AC condensor? it's not part of the picture so I can't tell.

It may be out of the picture, but I don't see the ABS module or master cylinder. I can see a bit of the coiled hard line that should go to the brakes next to the booster...but it doesn't look like you have ABS either way. I could be wrong...

opps. Not AC condenser. AC accumulator. x.x
It's the metal cylinder in the 3rd picture.
There should be a sensor to that cylinder, is it missing a wiring connector to it?

.... wow...

Don't see the master cylinder.. does this truck have brakes?

If I get my 03 back from the body shop, I'll take pictures of my engine bay from the same angles as yours, you can match them up and compare with a 100% functional, and intact vehicle.

Hope you got this truck cheap; may require a bit of work and quite a few parts.

Well I got it for 200$ so I couldn't pass...yes if you could post pictures of a perfectly running liberty engine bay that would be appreciated.
