The ole isopropyl alcohol got used on the blades and further inspection reveals they are still in good shape and should not break apart of fly off! :icon_lol:
Check Windshield Washer fluid-filled it up (am using winter Windex -40c Fluid)
-Checked Air pressure in tires needed a few extra psi
-With all Lights On, did a walk around and all bulbs working.
Used a squeegee between drivers seat & brake pedal to check that all brake lights work too!
-Hoat coolant level check & Stuck a antifreeze tester in reservoir and I'm good at -50C
- Checked battery water level & load tested, all is well there!
-Oil clean & Full !
- Belt/tensioner & hoses are now good!
I have to admit I need a wax job real soon! :icon_lol:

Mine is get battery tested (mine is only a diehard 625cc and I don't know how long it's been in there). New wiper blades. Oil change in October. Find the vacuum leak that's leading to the defrost kicking on during heavy loads. Get my alignment fixed. Paint the undercarriage again. Put the skids back on. Check the tires... I'm tired from just typing this...

I'm in AZ so the weather is good.
I still need to:
1. change the transfer case fluid
2. replace the front driveshaft rear CV
3. water pump
4. viscous fan
5. thermostat and thermostat housing
6. front and rear diff. gear oil
7. transmission fluid
8. wheel alignment

Ya I Suppose Tom you got a point there. Some of those should be weekly checks!
With me not so much, I generally just hop in the jeep and drive without paying much attention to the intricacies. I do on the quarters get more specific though.
It is amazing how many times in town I see Liberty's with at least one tail or brake light out!
I also know many of their jeeps are not as well maintained as they could be. My Kj surely receive the all the TLC / maintenance possible.

I need an alignment before ECS. Will detail it/seal it for winter of course. It'll probably need an oil change sometime midwinter.

I'm thinking of doing this too.

What should be covered up if I attempt this or what shouldn't be painted? Exhaust? rubber boots?

Thanks.

-Getting the hole in the underbody patched up.
-Still gotta get the O2 sensor install
-Bring it in for a transmission service
-Transfer case with the trans
-Probably gotta service the rear dif soon
-Plugs? Eventually? I still get good mileage 50,000 into the plugs but they're definitely hurting on starting power... (don't bash me...I'm really lazy sometimes)

Does anyone know of a really good plug socket or wrench to buy for our KJs? Plugs REALLY need to be done.

How do you go about painting everything under there? I've never thought of doing this before but think it would be a great idea!

Have a U-joint and i know the size just looking for a good brand. Maybe one with those rubber coatings to hold the plugs?

It's actually easier and quicker (for me), to move the coolant reservoir tank to do the plugs back by the firewall. :waytogo:

Do they have plug sockets that don't have the rubber insert? Not only does it hold the plug, it also helps prevent the socket from rocking and snapping the porcelain. But a trick for getting a deep reaching spark plug in and out is to slide a length of 3/8" fuel hose onto the end of the plug and turn it in or out. This has come in handy for me before, where there's a vertical obstruction, as the hose bends a lot easier than an extension won't.
