Finally cleaned my Libby and took some pics. More fabrication to do but it's getting there.

Yeah the flares for just fine in front and rear. Did some cutting and cleaning out of those wells to get the space. That said, I'm thinking of fabricating some smaller metal flares that barely cover the fender area. Then I'm going to bolt them on after line x and roll with those. Looking also to cut about 3" off the bumper wings on each side. Should be an easy mod and give a clean look with better clearance. Always an experiment :) eventually will sell the fender flares too, I think.

Do you have a build sheet? I'm really curious as to what you have done to your jeep it looks awesome!

Well, thanks! It is getting there. Did a lot to it but the best thing is lift and some wheel well cutting. In the front, you have to take off the factory plastic and cut that metal flare that extends from the uni body out towards the tire. Once that is cut, and a proper lift is in place, you can out much bigger tires in. The front isn't the real issue though. The rear axle position and well space is the challenge. I move the rear axle back an inch and trimmed a lot to get the wheels in there. I have more trimming to do and a JBA 6" lift is, I think, perfect. I took out the anti sway bar (rear axle) and she does well for the road both on and off.

But to get actual room for flex off road with 35" Tires you have to do more cutting. I'd recommend 33s with what I described to do off roading as you'll get better flex into your wells and probably be happier.

Hope that's helpful.

I'm about to go jba 6 lift. What is your lift and what all did you have to do on it.

I went with JBA also. 6" left is perfect too. You can go up or down on the adjust a struts and the package of shocks and front steel diff had been very good. While I'll admit I'm hungry for a SFA, JBA stuff is top notch, I think. He also knows his stuff and if you have questions about the build he's helpful to answer. My recommendation is to get someone with attention to detail on putting that stuff in. The arms have to be cut just right and so on. If you do that, you'll be very happy. He's pricey, but his stuff is very good. I wheeled hard for a week straight on his lift and was anticipating my IFS to give out or break on some of the pinches I was in but it held up very well, no issues. Again, SFA is the better build on my opinion, but if you're ready for a lift, I'm very happy with my JBA. The parts are tough and doing very well so far.
My work so far...
JBA 6"
Adjust a struts
Bilstein front/rear
Brake lines
Tri-Angulated 4 link
Upper and lower arms
Steel front diff
2" drop
Rear coil springs
Extended bump stops
4.5" arms, etc.
Recommend spacers (helps with spacing tires from arms when u r deflating the tires for off roading)

That's just a simple list from JBA stuff. there's more that I did with lockers and 4.88 gears and compressor and louvers, etc but have been pleased with JBA.

I'd definitely get a 6" and not the 4" And I'd recommend lifting the front to even the plane for the rear lift. Usually a Libby has about an inch more lift on the rear than the front but I evened up the front with the rear and she rides much better. Just a suggestion.
