I got a 2003 Liberty Sport 4x4 a month ago and am shocked at how much the insurance is. I am with State Farm and for full coverage it was going to be the same as my 2012 Traverse, which is $70 per month. Is this in the norm? I opted for just liability which is like $38 per month, but just curious as to why it would be so much.

Mine is $106 a month. Thought it was reasonable. Wish it was $78; that sounds even better.

I was paying $52 a month on my '06 Liberty for full coverage when I had it through Progressive. Now I pay $82 a month.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
I pay $78 a month(full coverage $250/$250 deductibles) and have been with American Family for 20+ years so that helps. The only reason it's $78 a month is due to the fact it's insured for $60,000 with all the riders on the policy due to the extreme mods done.Every nut and bolt is insured(agent has a copy of every single invoice),the paint job is even insured separately.

Want to live here on west coast Canada? Full coverage with collision $145 per month.
With fire theft vandalism but no collision, it is $115 per month. (that is with a 40% safe driver discount) Young drivers here cant afford insurance the parents have to buy it for them.

Man that *****.

When I 1st started driving my insurance was $54 for 6 months of coverage, full coverage with $0 deductibles, but it had those 3 little words on top of the card that made making excuses a pain when you got pulled over. Those words were "FARM USE ONLY",could have that insurance for 2 years since I had a farmers license(age 12 to 14).

2k/year. Full coverage, $250/$50 deductable. $1m liability. That's about all I know about it. That's $167/month. I'm 22 and the '04 does not have antilock brakes. Yes I have a clean record. I'm with NJ manufacturers.

No clue but it is 20 bucks cheaper than what my Pontiac G8 was which is odd concerning it was a V6 as well. So both vehicles are $140 a month for full coverage 500 on both collision and comp. Wife has a 2007 Kia Spectra.

Age,zip code, and credit score(major factor in insurance rates nowdays).

Funny thing is my insurance went down 15% when I changed my address from a South Dakota zip code to Colorado Springs zip code.My agent was surprised since it should have went up.

You're probably right. NJ zip code has to be a killer. And I know age. Credit score is good.
