Used a clay bar, then SCG Beyond Clay (with an orange pad) then Mothers Synthetic Wax. I got the mothers because I ran out of the SCG Sealant and this was what I could get. Actually smells and feels the same. I kinda suspect it might be the same.

Looks good but what is the "speckled look" on a couple of the pics?

Looks like metal flake paint to me..

That's what I thought but it looks like it is on the glass in the first couple of pics. I must need more coffee.....LOL

Ask if they remember it....LOL it's only one of a few thousand 09 Black Laredos I bet. But it does have most of the Limited options so I guess that's a bit rare. :D

December '08? Isn't that the year they had the rip-roaring Christmas party and the whole assembly line crew was wasted for a week?

Better check those bolts, HJ.

i own exactly same colored WK laredo, 3.0 CRD. 2009 make. that paint finish tends to go dull under winter conditions. I dont know why is this so. May be the paint quality is lower than the older chrysler products.

what i found effective on cleaning the paint and give a better look, the end user targeted product was Turtle wax PTFE. easy to apply and result is quite good. and cheap too.
