04+ 3.7 engine on a 03

hi i was wondering what i need to to make a 04+ 3.7 engine work on my 03
i heard that u cant interchange them..
because my engine is dead and for some reason 04+ engines are cheaper
(by the way my car a 3.7)

Take a look at the stickies in this section of the forum. There is one dealing directly with your question. Also, do a search of the forums as there have been a number of posts with specific requirements for using a newer engine in your '03.


Oh yeah, don't call your Jeep a 'car' as it will never run right no matter what engine you put in it :whip:
