I ordered my 2.5" adjust-a-strut on the 15th and still the outlook is bleak. You would think for the primo prices that are being charged, that with the profit, they would have inventory on hand. I probably won't have in my hands for another week, if not longer.

Sorry I'm venting here. I'm really tired of paying good prices on something and have to wait a month to have a tracking number. It's not just JBA, it's everyone nowadays. How long did you guys wait? Tell me the system is worth it, so I can gain some patience lol. :icon_twisted::icon_twisted::badger_1:

No one has complained about All Js and they support the forum. How many threads about asstastic service from JBA need be posted before peeps learn? Just because one of the mods is a shill for the company, he's really not a reverend so you don't need to be his flock. Just sayin.

I think his response time is great!!! He deserves kudos for that so far. And I'm sure that it's really on the side of the manufactures that cause these delays. I'm just not a patient person and believe if something is listed on your website for sale, especially at a primo price, that it should be in stock and ready to ship. Unless, otherwise stated on the site. I'm not flocking to any vendor, as everyone I have been trying to order Liberty parts have fell flat IMHO. It feels like being involved in a group purchase, without a group price. I know in the corvette forum that you can save big $$$ by waiting and knowing that upfront.

I know that even though AllJ was closer for shipping they did not stock the UCA 4.5 Arms.
Only JBA had them in stock, so he got the order as my stock UCA was hittin on the spring, and I needed the 4.5's ASAP.
Possibly the adjust struts are more a custom order. He may not inventory them cause they may not sell that many, and who wants to sit on stock for extended time, just guessing.

It's everyone nowadays. People are afraid to invest in their stock and it really is a crappy way of doing business, for everyone, even the seller. I guarantee they have cancellations and lose tons of sales when people find out they're going to have to wait a month, for that item they spent mucho moolah.

Primo price should = primo service. Custom or not.

Just for a point of reference JL
I buy from AllJs and JBA both, depends on who has what.
Both provide great service and have products out as soon as they can, both have had delays before in shipping, they have no control over getting parts in. AllJs had problems a while back with thier spacers and getting them in so there was some waiting time for shipping of Frankenlifts. being a big deal you would think you'd know that in todays market.
Also I can provide my paperwork to preach:whip:I am now ordained:smokin:

Just call him so you are certain of what is going on so you don't vent about it here. I got my springs from him in 3 days and when I ordered the 4.5 a-arms it took 3 days again.

Oh I've been in contact. Like I stated, he has very good communication service. His stock is what has me venting. I ordered on the 14th or 15th and they still don't have the parts to fill my order. So, I'm thinking I won't have a tracking number til next week. I'm venting because I don't want to cancel the order. Cause I do want the system. I just feel that 1 month is to long to wait for a lift kit. My friend got a similar setup for his h2 and had it in like 5 days. I'm hearing a lot of crap right now, as we were suppose to be wheeling this weekend.

Not to mention, that I ordered from another company prior to this and had to cancel there because it was going on a month and a half there. I guess that was mostly for the ARB bumper. I just don't feel comfortable with someone charging the card right away and then not have something.

Why don't you take it up with Marlin directly instead of
posting your frustrations here?

I have never had any problems with him.
Sure, sometimes it might take some time to get
some issues resolved; but that is no difference than
any other company!

Took about a week for my bumpstops to come. Only think I ordered from him. Shocks from allshocks.com took 3 days, then the springs from Sierra Expeditions were here the end of that week.

To get an idea how long others have waited...

I've asked for updates and it's the expected pass the buck replies. "I'm waiting for parts from manufactures." Same responses I got from RRO (waited 45+ days from them and finally had to cancel there. Charge card only gives you 60 days to dispute.). It gets kind of annoying. Parts should be instock unless otherwise stated on a website. Not to mention, a charge card should not be charged until an item is just ready to be shipped!

So far, I'm not liking my experiance with any Liberty parts dealers I've attempted business. I've been in group purchases with my car that have been far easier.

I hear what you're saying!
And I agree with the "Not to mention, a charge card should not be charged until an item is just ready to be shipped!"
I too have had similar issues with some companies regarding that.
(Not any of the companies you mentioned thou.)
And have made it clear not to charge my accounts until items are ready to
shipped.
Credit card interest rates are high enough.

It's really not only the interest. It's the dispute time. You only get 60 days to file with your card. One of the best things about the charge card is the protection it gives you. Unfortunately, nowadays you cant do transaction with good faith. Companies go out of business, people need money, etc... Were getting off of topic though lol. I just want my LIFT! :)

I ordered a OME/Bilstien Lift from JBA on the 13th and only revcieved one tracking number on the 20th. That tracking number was for the Terra Flex bumpstops which were the only thing from my lift that shipped directly from JBA. My shocks and struts arrived on the 20th from Washington state, shockwharehouse.com. My Springs then arrived on the 22nd directly from ARB. Then the 24th I received the bumpstops. I was not very satisfied with the shipping information but he was gone out of town 16-19th so that may have been why I'm not sure really. Either way I got my lift, got it on and absolutely love it!

Well, here we are almost 30 days later and now just being notified that my order is not coming. Back ordered... Now I'm done with attempting any mods on the Liberty. I cannot refer anyone to Rocky Road Outfitters or Jeepin by Al's websites. You get the same excuses from both. If you like group purchases without a discount, then these are the places for you!

wow
have you tried any where else?
No one keeps a lot of stock in todays market, can't afford to so that is why it takes all of them a while to get parts.
Try www.boulderbars.com ( AllJs)
www.ok4wd.com
have ordered from both with good results

Somewhere between being sane and insane!

That is 100% true for any auto part regardless of where or what it is and has been getting worse over the last couple of months.

Plus the whole charging of the card until it's ready to ship is going bye-bye with custom parts,to much risk on the other side if you back out.I had to wait 4 weeks for my rear shocks to be built which I had to pay before hand before they would even begin building them.
