I just got my build sheet sent to me and there's a few things on it that I don't have....is it possible that some of the options never made it to the jeep? If anyone cares I'll post the whole thing

Well I'm missing the smokers package, the cargo cover, a front license plate bracket, and front window tint so far. Also, it doesn't actually say trac lock on it but I think I do have it.

The cargo cover could of been removed by the PO, the front window tint actually isn't a true tint like the rear where it says "deep window tint"
(Heres the difference from your build sheet)

Hell yea im lucky with the ******! When i test drive it i thought it had the 42 but when i put it in drive i heard my favorite sound and i knew it was a 45. I can see that the PO could have taken out the cover but the bracket was never even installed because the pre made hole spots on the bumper are not drilled at all. And the smokers group, isn't it supposed to have the ash tray built into the dash bezel? My old one did but this one just has a storage spot instead of it.
What sound does the 45 make??

The buzz ticking sound that most chryslers make. My mom has an 05 with the 42 and it's never made a sound.

Humm... Maybe the bumper was replaced at one point and they used one without the holes. As for the built-in ashtray I have no idea! haha

My build sheet showed 45RFE but after looking underneath its a 42RLE and its an early 03' build date.
So unless you get underneath and look the build sheet could be wrong.
As for the trac-loc get under and look on the drivers side of the rear axle, on the axle tube, there should be a green sticker wrapped around it. It will say something like 8.25 Corp, Open Case or Trac Loc.. Just read the sticker!

where will it tell on the trans if it s 45 or 42

AFAIK front plate brackets are installed at the dealer since not all states require front plates, and since MI doesn't the dealer probably just threw it in the garbage lol

Front window tint was never an option. Privacy glass refers to the rear doors, quarter glass, and back glass.
Tinted glass refers to your windshield and front windows, which has a VERY SLIGHT bluish tint to it.
Smoker's package is just an ash tray that fits in the cupholder.
Cargo cover is easily removed from the Jeep, just like the Smoker's package.
Front license plate bracket comes with the Jeep, but is not affixed. It is affixed by the dealer. Something else that is not actually MOUNTED to the Jeep from the factory.
Anti spin differential is the trac lok

Also, 2002 was the only year KJs had the ash tray built into the dash bezel. No other KJs have that, or the power outlet+cig lighter

Second note: the "clicking" is made by every Chrysler Transmisison. It is the electronic doo-dad that turns the sine wave into a square wave for selecting each transmission gear. Even if you don't hear it, it's there... Since all Chrysler transmissions utilize a square wave signal.
