There is really no such thing as a high flow catalytic converter. Check this out before making a decision. http://www.catalyticconverter.org/news/news_page.cfm?Key=catalytic_converter-&News=89

You cannot install anything that will reduce the effectiveness of it for your vehicle. I would also think that using a larger one would be good but if it does not get hot enough it does not do its job it will not work. It is federally mandated sure but there are states without emissions and if they do not test then who cares right? Regulations on Diesels are getting to be a real pain in the ass too those regulations are beginning to go nationwide with the idle limit times and emissions from the stacks. Black smoke from a stack is just unburned diesel anyhow you can do what you want to do if your state does not do emissions checks. Missouri has emission testing in four counties and st. Louis city.

Rockauto.com has cats for 02,would guess they have them for 06 also.

Not trying to steal the thread here but since its on topic how many cats are on a 06??
i was looking under and i know there are the front two but was looking somewhere and it said there is suppose to be a third??
I have this one and was wondering if the guy i bought my kj from cut off the 3rd if there is suppose to be one??

thank god! since i got emission testing every year it would of been a pain to try put back in a cat...

OEMs aren't high flow

And cost...

Newer OEM cats are actually the highest flowing cats you can buy,hence the high cost.
