Well my '03 liberty has had its first real problem. This past week both rear wondows stopped going up and down. The motors are fine. It seems that the cable that runs to the window wont catch the plastic clip that attaches to the track. Has anyone had this problem? I removed the door panels and I figure that the plastic clip is broken where it attaches to the cable or the cable cant lock into it. Can the plastic clip be ordered? Thanks for your help.

You can enjoy this problem for many years to come. :D

Gotta order the whole regulator or figure out a way to fix it yourself.

Ive been waiting for one of mine to break so I coulf fix it but so far the 2002-2004 kj's seem to have 'better' regulators than the 05+ kj's.

We should see if we can get regulators at a group rate discount. :D

I think I will try to fix it myself this weekend. I'm not paying over a $100 for a .10 part. I saw in another forum where an owner used baling wire to repair the problem and it has held for over a year now. There just has to be a better way than buying the whole thing.
