30 minutes riding around says this is absolutely the best, smooth riding lift going.
You do not know how bad the rough ride on the old bagged stock suspension is until you complete this work.
Thanks to all who helped with comments and recommendations from the "lift" section.

I now look forward to get out with Ryan and we will get some shots of both our Jeep Together again.
Time to hit speed bumps & beat on it, then re-torque the shock bolts and then one more alignment in a month or so.
The alignment went well and here is the results.

This is with the stock control arms, NOT JBA's

Dammit. Just when I decide not to lift someone posts pics of a lifted KJ. Now, I gotta find a few more $100 bills.:pp:

it looks great.
could you post a pic of the ball joint angle with the stock a-arms after the lift please?
I noticed when I changed the front hub on mine, just having the weight off the suspension put the ball joint at quite an angle.

Funny how people think their KJ rides good until they lift it. Don't know how many times I have told people it will ride way better after the lift than before and they don't think it will. Then afterwards they are like WOW! :happy175:
Looks good

At the height he has his at stock arms will do fine and the angle is not that great. I ran over that height for over 50,000 on my original lift and stock arms and they were still good. Just swapped them out since I got a deal on 4.5s !

OK, thanks for clearing that up for me,

Lay a "Smack Down" on Jeep

Last night was a real treat, driving over curbs like they did not exist, going over speed bumps to bounce the front end in. The roads here are bad. Instead of trying to avoid potholes, you now aim for them!!!
What a smooth lifted ride!!!!:smokin::party36::driver::evil::icon_mrgreen::winner_third_h4h::icon_smile::icon_smile::icon_smile::icon_smile::icon_smile::icon_smile:

I think I need to Repaint my Parking Spot!!!

Ya Jen That was mentioned on page one. No-Al's 4.5s.
I can see getting them eventually, after the springs are compressed in a bit.
I really wanted to get a feel without the A-Arms first, so that I could really describe the difference before & after.
Interestingly enough the steering seems to hold an alignment but, a small jitter is felt through wheel on heavy bumps.
I think the A-Arms will offer more stability ,better alignment, and I am sure you know what to get me before my next alignment...!!

Thought You Would Like that Ryan!
I just measured for underground clearance, have to keep that in mind now!
At 6' 10 might as well call it 7 feet needed to clear underground parking now.
Yup Jeep has definitely grown up.
