What do you guy's think of running 225-75-16 size tires with a 2.5" lift.
Opposed to 245 70's or 75's.

That don't look too bad! At least you don't have to worry about rubbing, grinding and all that other fun stuff!
I guess a set of 245-70-16 or 247-75-16 would look better over all!

225/75's are 1/2" taller than the 235/70's that were stock with the off-road package. They'll look fine. Personally I prefer narrow & tall to the wide look.

That's my thinking as well and always whats been under any of the 4X4's I've had or used were tall skinny tires.
I can see why a 245 would look better. Fills the wheel well.

I know mine looked really bad with the 245/65R17's and the Frankenlift for the couple mile trip over to the tire store.

Sorry to hijack but just thought of something... A 2.5" lift with 245/75/16 tires would translate to a 3" lift, and even more important, raise your diffs .5" correct?

I already found a flaw in my math... The 235/70/16 stocker is 29", so the 245/75/16 is 30.5", so that means you will gain a extra .75" of a lift, and bring your diffs up .75" higher.... right? Makes me wanna go get 235/85R16 just to get some real height
