So I bought from eBay a reverse wireless mirror and camera. I connect the camera to the reverse positive wire and the negative. The mirror has the receiver wireless and the power cable. I took power from radio fuse 18.
The issue is that every time car is on but not reverse the mirror screen is flickering. When I put reverse everything works perfect.
You have any idea what can cause this issue? Thanks

From what I understand, you said you hooked one wire to the radio fuse? If I'm correct, you should only splice into the wires that deal with the reverse signal circuit. Otherwise, you're going to get electrical signals scattering from the radio or anywhere you wire it to. I'm not entirely sure, as I did not invest in one of those, but I'm pretty good when it comes to wiring. My guess is, when you're not in reverse, you're getting small power sent to the mirror screen causing it to flicker. Do this, hook everything up just the reverse circuit and go from there. Should solve you issue...I think..couldn't hurt to try. Sorry if I am no help. I usually install audio systems, and gps units and lighting. Never fond of the aftermarket reverse cameras.

Hi. Actually I hooked the camera on the reverse light but where should I take power for the mirror? The mirror comes with the wireless receiver which has a red and black wire and one more cable which I guess is the power cable. Do you have any thought from where should I take power for the mirror and the receiver?

Do you know if we have a fuse for only the reverse lught so i can take power from there? Thanks a lot for your help :)

I don't know that jimgas. I solved this by passing a long cable from tailgate up to the camera.

I would hook the mirror up on the same wire/fuse you used for the reverse lgjt

You can hook up all the positive wires for the camera and the monitor to a relay that is triggered by the reverse wire back on your tail lights.

Connect the wires ONLY to the reverse light switch or fuse
