Anyone use one of these? I have a handheld CB radio and the only time I take it out of the glove box is on a trail ride so range is not of great concern.

I've got one for my 144/440Mhz Amatuer Radio rig that works great. The only concern I have about that one is getting it tuned properly. In order for the capacitive coupling (thats a fancy name for it) to work on 11 meters the mounting plate for the antenna and the coupling plate should be bigger, something like 4" square (I sat down way back when and figured it out). It may tune OK, only way to really know is to try it.
