i dont know much about lift kits...but i bought a 3in lift kit from roughcountry and they said i could put 265.75.r16 on. so i bought the lift kit and had it installed. i went to get tires put on and asked for 265.75.r16 from widetrack baja mt's. they put the tires on and i had severe tire rub, both front and back. i had to go down to 245.70.r16 and i still get tire rub in the front when i turn the wheel all the way. my question is... Is the lift kit i bought the reason i cant put 32in tires on, or is it just because the wheel wells of the liberty are too narrow to fit bigger tires? is there anything i can do to get bigger tires or just eliminate the tire rub all together?

The wheel wells are your limitation. Although I THINK they meant to list 265/70R16... not 265/75.

Although I'm trying to figure out how you're rubbing with 245/70s. I've never rubbed my 245/70s and I'm not lifted.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
I run 32" tires(Trxus MT's,265/75R16,31.9" tall),very little rub in the rear at full stuff, then again I'm at 3.75" lft and a ARB front bumber. You need to to massive amounts of cutting/trimming to run 265/75's on a KJ,BS of the rims is key, anything over a 7" wide rim and less then 4.25" of BS will dramatically increase the rubbing.

Got 16x8 rims don't you? Get rid of them and get 16x7 rims with 4.25"-5" of BS and most of the rub will go away.
