Why are the front LCAs so expensive compared to the uppers?

Even aftermarket there's a huge price difference between upper and lower. What's so special about the LCAs?

just look at them, theres a lot more that goes into the manufacturing of the lowers than the uppers, more material, the 2 mounting bushings as well as the bushing for the clevis to mount to, a larger balljoint, the uppers are only 2 bushings and a balljoint, way less material and way easier to manufacture.

Lower OEM arms are forged steel. Fairly sure the aftermarket jobs are cast.

Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind because the Matrix is real, Neo.

Front LCA's are cast steel also.

There design and amount of material is why there so expensive compared to the UCA's.Just think the LCA's must support the vehicles weight where the UCA's do not, they just place the top of the knuckles and do not support any weight.
