whooo whooo sound with windows down

Has anyone noticed the weird wind buffeting sound when you go down the road. Best described as a whoowhoowhoowhoo. Its a wind generated sound not tire noise.. Just curious if my Liby is the only one that does it..

Pretty normal on any SUV,worse if just rolling down the back windows.Nothing you can do about it.

yeah when i had my trailblazer it did that too, out KJ does it also....

I do notice it especially when the backs only are down. I just close the damned things and go with a/c eventually. Though this is not as bad as my wife's Vue. that thing makes a throbbing pulse low bass sounds.

It's normal. Used to happen on my G5 and Neon as well. I don't notice it as much when I have the vent shades installed.

It is called buffeting, and it is even talked about in the owners manual.

I've only experienced it a few times between the two Jeeps I've owned.

it happens in a lot of vehicles. My friend's Dodge Pickup did it as well as his Ford truck.
