I have five auxiliary gauges I want to mount.
One Oil pressure gauge.
Two Oil temperature gauges (1 for pre cooling of transmission fluid and 1 for post cooling of transmission fluid.
One Voltage gauge.
One Vacuum gauge.

I'm thinking of either mounting all five of them in a custom made gauge pod that will fit above the two centre
A/C vents on the dashboard.

Or one on either side of the outside of the curved instrument cluster shroud and three in a custom made gauge
pod that will fit above the two centre A/C vents on the dashboard.

Third option would be to mount one on either side of the outside of the curved instrument cluster shroud and three
gauges in an "A" pillar gauge pod.

Fourth option would be mounting all of them above the rear view mirror in a custom made gauge pod.

Two of these.

Vacuum gauge not shown but it looks the same as those above.

All gauges have multi colour back lighting and programmable to change colour at a predetermined temperature.

Any other suggestions or ideas folks?

I like option two. Seems like lots of fun fiberglass work though to make that guage pod look like a factory part above the center dash. It looks cool on the FJ though

Remove the EVIC/OTIS (if you have one) and put them overhead.

I do like the Dodge Ram quad overhead console.
I can't do the A pillar gauge pods because I need the grab handle to help myself into the KJ.

Too many projects lined up. Good thing I have 7 days a week off!

Yeah, I liked that one the best - wouldn't narrow the front view or eliminate the much needed "stiff back helper inner" handle. :freak3:
