I stay in dubai and the one shop sells rough country lift kits, 3" lift for my Liberty. 99% of all other shops dont sell parts for the liberty as the place is ruled by wranglers, land cruisers and patrols.

since i ride on the beaches and desert what is the best set up for me?
Should i go with the rough country or look online for something whats your opinons?

Oh i have 2003 limited 3.7ltr stock standard

Look for an OME/ARB dealer, they can hook you up with OME springs/coils.

I shouldve added that i need new front shocks as they make a terrible sound when go over a speed bump.... what yoiu suggest. Thought about the lift now cos i'm replacing the front shocks, why not do it all together hey???

Yes do it all together
Rough Country is JUNK!
Spend you money on OME 927 springs for the front, OME 948 springs for the rear
Bilstein makes a good shock if you can find it over there
Also read through the information on here that list all lifts etc.
DO NOT do any type of spacer lift, you will not be happy in the long run

Ja found a place who sell those shocks are these for my liberty? They cost AED 350 each which works out to be $95 each without installation. Is that a good price?

Haven't found the springs but i'm sure they could import them for me. They say these are height adjustable shocks, but what sort of lift can i expect from this?

Also if i lift it i should get new tires right, for stability purpose?

front shocks bilstein part number F4-BE5-D916-H0
rear shocks bilstein part number F4-BE5-6458-H7
front springs ome 927
rear springs ome 948

if you cant find anywhere local or decently priced for any of these part numbers check out jeepinbyal.com. the owner ships internationally and is a well known name in the Jeep Liberty community.

The Bilstien front shock is F4-BE5-D916-H0
The shock for rear BE5-6458-H7 is JBA's part number, and may be a custom length shock.
The Dakota spec for KJ "lifted" with OME coils, shock is what is recommended for the rear as well: Bilstein F4-BE5-A702--H0.
Mine arrived today for my 04 KJ.

you should get at least 2" more then likely more depending on how wore out your stock suspension is

The shop doesn't order the shocks anymore :( and they stopping to stock parts for the liberty bcos the wrangler is so popular here..... effing *****!
There's another place that sells the skyjacker system but i've read it not worth the fuss.
So trying to see if they can get rancho shocks as they have some for the Dodge Durango...
But now after reading some other posts the rancho shocks i need are discontinued, so now what to do?

so good advice would help me out.

p.s. the skyjacker 2.5" lift with 4 shocks and coils plus installation would have cost me aed5800 = $1581

this is a very late post, but if your still looking to lift the KJ, the ironman lift kit is just as good as OME, its a high quality lift for sure.
