I use blackstone labs myself. It takes about 3-4 days to get your results back.. Even faster if you provide an email address. I got my results in a nice easy to read PDF file via email and hard copy in the mail. NOt bad for 20 bucks!!

Its old, but it could still be true. Who knows if the quailty has changed since then or not. I still read on Bobistheoilguy.com alot about Frams reputation of Filter Media collapsing. I dunno.. Its enought to steer me away from Fram.

Not tryin to stir the pot, just fount it interesting thats all.. \:D/

I've been using Fram filters for about 10 years now. Never had an issue. Ran 2 different Buicks to well over 100,000 and a third is now at 95,000. My Libby has been running them since the second oil change (dealer did the first one), and I am now at 13,000.
You would think if something is that bad, either it would be taken off of the market, or the issue would be fixed. Either way, I can't see a company keeping something out there that might cause damage to an engine.
Just my $.02
