So i recently replaced my sway bar links on my 05 jeep liberty and when replacing i noticed that the driver side one was in a different direction than the other

I installed the new ones where the bottom bulge points towards the front of the vehicle like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ05LYxSh7U

I go out to take a look today and the sway bar link is incredibly loose almost falling off i torqued to 100ft lbs upper and 85ft lbs lower

So am i installing these sway bar links in the right direction?
Is my torque specs correct?

Thanks for your help!

The new links should be firmly in place without even tightening the bolts - they should not be loose at all. You sure you got the right ones?

As for the direction/orientation in which they should be installed - the direction indicated in the video is correct. And the torque values you tightened yours to is way too high - about 60 to 70 ft/lbs is all the higher you need to go.
