what engine and tcase would you get in a WJ

sometime the first of the year i am looking to buy a WJ around the 5 or 6 grand area. what i am asking is what would rather have the 4.0 or the 4.7 V8 and why .....also what tcase would want and why thanks to all jeepers around

I had a 99....4.0 and NP 242. Miss it every time I see one.
