my hazards and turn signals have suddenly stopped working. i checked the fuse panel in the cabin and found that the flasher fuse was blown. no problem I'll replace the fuse. did so and it blew while i was pressing it in. could it be that the flasher unit located behind the hazard button is bad and that is why my fuse blew immediately. thoughts please.http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif

Ever seen at night your headlights blink when your turn signal turns off after a turn?
Could be the mulitfunction switch is bad or relay stuck, even possibly a short from the wiring or bulb socket-somewhere.
Try taking out the rear bulbs and then put fuse in and see if it holds.
If fuse does not blow with bulbs out then-
Put one bulb in at a time, each time checking the fuse, as you install each bulb.

Check the Multifunction switch and if it isn't that, I'd start looking at the BCM. the Multifunction is ~100.00 BCM is ~500...
