Transmission (Model) Code

I have a 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4. I would like to order a transmission fluid dipstick and need to verify the transmission model code.

The one I got from China was something like $4 and is just extra long. I don't think they go by exact size.

It works by just bottoming out in the pan. You are supposed to have so much of a depth of fluid. I suppose that would have to be adjusted by a certain calculated amount if you have an aftermarket pan.

The originals did not come with a dipstick, I think. They want you to take your vehicle to a stealership to check the fluid as they believe such a thing is beyond your capabilities.
