I've noticed that my transmission temperature light comes on when climbing long steep off road hills at speeds of less than 10 mph (like the Mt Princeton road and the Lead King Basin road to Crystal). It seems like it only comes on if I'm in 2HI or 4HI, but not 4LO.

I realize these aren't easy climbs, but other vehicles don't have a problem. I've checked fluid levels, and everythings up. FWIW I have the towing package, so I think its supposed to have HD cooling too?

Anyone else experience this? I haven't talked to my dealer yet.

happens alot on the 04-05's. 4low makes it easier on the ******, thats y it dosent come on. Just take it easy on it, it should be ok. If it comes on alot, and stays on alot then i would be worried about it.
