I did changed-out the gear oil 75w-140 and added the modifeir. The sound went away immediately. The old gear oil must have broken down. I'm glad I got to it before any real damage was done. I still want to switch to the Detroit True Track. It looks like I may be waiting a bit longer to make the switch. The rear end sounds great!
