Not really, but with the spring it really wobbles passing a semi on a 2 lane highway. We had a really bad storm the beginning of December, and the antenna did get horizontal several times while I was driving around town.

i think i have the same kind of firestick antenna. My friends ask me all the time if the thing annoys me or makes me nervous. Hah. I havent been in bad enough conditions for it to turn horizontal but it sure whips around when im drivin on the beach..

You have a very nice Liberty sitting there and choice lights to boot!
Sweet!
Nothing "stupid" about it.

It's to bad I don't have any photo's or vid of my Mini with all the lights cranked up ready for landing!
Y'all would be jealous now ye hear!
Those lamps throw off so much heat when I have them on in the Autom or Winter that they look like they are "steaming" ;)

ms5490renegade?
Get creative with mounting your new Hella's!
I guess next you are going to want killer back-up lights, alley lights!
Keep going, there are still loads of things you can do to trick out your Libby and make it more "you"!

(Cheers)

MidnightLiberty?
I was going to ask you, how do you like your CB mounted there on the side of your center console? Do you ever have accessibility problems trying to access certain buttons whilst driving?
Also, that bank of 12 volt accessory plug In's for all your goodies...What make is that or is it home made?

Man, not sure I'd want to have an antenna like that on the trails that I go on. To wit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t27Z3Jh733U wrc.gif

I would probably remove the antenna, or put on a shorter one if I ever went down a road like that.

Very nice pics. What is that think next to the CB? Wouldn't it be better to mount the CB on the spare?
Are you referring to the 12V 3 plug outlets on the center console or the CB Mike I have on the side of the CB.

I can reach all my controls just fine. I am 6'2" though. It was the best place I could find to mount the CB. The 12v outlet is made by Bell and available at Wal-Mart and possibly Schucks Auto.
