Not really, but with the spring it really wobbles passing a semi on a 2 lane highway. We had a really bad storm the beginning of December, and the antenna did get horizontal several times while I was driving around town.
I would probably remove the antenna, or put on a shorter one if I ever went down a road like that.Man, not sure I'd want to have an antenna like that on the trails that I go on. To wit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t27Z3Jh733U wrc.gif
Are you referring to the 12V 3 plug outlets on the center console or the CB Mike I have on the side of the CB.Very nice pics. What is that think next to the CB? Wouldn't it be better to mount the CB on the spare?
I can reach all my controls just fine. I am 6'2" though. It was the best place I could find to mount the CB. The 12v outlet is made by Bell and available at Wal-Mart and possibly Schucks Auto.MidnightLiberty?
I was going to ask you, how do you like your CB mounted there on the side of your center console? Do you ever have accessibility problems trying to access certain buttons whilst driving?
Also, that bank of 12 volt accessory plug In's for all your goodies...What make is that or is it home made?
