before alignment the steering wheel was about 1 or 2:00. i had an alignment done and the toe was off. steering wheel was straight for a month or so but now it seems its going to 1:00 again. any ideas other than gnomes?

Happened to a friend not long ago on his mazda. Got it aligned and everything, then it went off again after not so long. Got a refund, went to another mechanic and now it's straight as I am.
Can hit a small pot hole or rail road tracks the right way and knock one out at times

hmmm... well thats lame. might as well make it worth it and get new tie rod ends thrown on prior to alignment.
If they are worn then that could be part of the issue as well
