hello kj community its been a while since i have posted on this site. been extremely busy with work and school. anyway we had a snow storm today so i decided to do drift n do doughnuts in parking lots for the 1st time. when i first stated i didnt realize i had left my 4x4 in full time so that was on for about 3 minutes. then when i took it off i was doing a pretty ****** job of drifting. like i said before this was my first time. so after 20-30 min i finally got the hang of drifting and was doing some wild doughnuts. i say for about an hour me n my friends decided to leave the lot n get some food. thats when i noticed that sometimes the steering wheel would feel very loose when making turns. then on other turns it would get very hard to turn. im not sure what the hell is going on. im not that experienced with cars so i cant guess what is wrong with it. its still raining/snowing and dark so im not gonna check under the car to see if there is something obvious to me. would like an answer from community before i have to bring it to a mechanic. PLEASE HELP!!

What? You were drifting a jeep and doing donuts?

Get under it and look for loose stuff.

Ive seen youtube videos of people shooting themselves, just becuase its on youtube dont mean its right.

On a lighter note, i hope its just your worried mind and not anything wrong with it.

Holding the steering wheel all the way right or all the way left.Should never be held at full lock for more then 1-2 seconds as the pump is producing max pressure with nowhere to send it.

yea i did that for doughnuts...crap

The reservoir is at the front of the engine towards the drivers side. There is a screw on black top with a plastic dipstick attached. If it's low you'll need some ATF+4 to top up... and you'll want to start looking for any leaks.

Well for the Santa-fe it was 400$ for the part and the installation but I supose it would be cheaper on a Jeep.
But I agree that you should check PS liquid lvl first and search for any leak.
