Good day,
Question: Are the factory flares and bumpers on the Sport model the same Chrysler part numbers as those used and colour coded on a Limited model?
My Sport flares and bumpers have a rougher "grain" (As in like leather grain!) finish and Limited flares are smooth. Is that just because Chrysler used a different flexible Urethane primer and paint to achieve the smooth finish?
The reason I ask is that I'd like to paint the flares and bumpers
semi-gloss /bumper trim black, but I'd like to retain the rougher grain finish and not a smooth look.

Cheers
Ry'

The sport flares are different than the LTD. On the LTD you can use regular paint but on the sport you have to use special plastic paint. Some people have had success with Krylon Fusion paint for plastics. Preparation is key.

That's what I thought.
I have a friend who works for PPG and he say's he's able to get me the paint I need for the Sport fender flares. Probably better than a spray bomb anyway!
