Everyone Chrysler vehicle I've owned ran like crap on anything but champion copper plugs.

Just changed them every other year since they're so cheap.

The problem with Neons is that two cylinders have a reverse polarity spark. An expensive plug doesn't work well because for those two cylinders it will be the ground terminal on the plug that burns away, rather than the centre electrode.

I don't believe that Iridium or whatever metal would change the temperature of the spark, that would just depend on the voltage and current.
