I dont know about you others but there are alot of times that i get looked down on by the JK crew for having a KJ.. aparently its not man enough to be a jeep..

so that makes the small victories even more sweet!

Here is mine:

Last winter i think it was, we had some really serious flooding here in the fort.

So of course i took the opportunity to go find me some flooded streets to explore..

And lo and behold there i was sill deep in water havin me some fun and i saw someone in a car stuck in the mud of a burm.. With a nicely modded JK parked some distance away..
I stopped and asked if they needed chain or rope ( both of which i always carry) and i found out that the JK owner was reluctant to drive his rig into the water to help pull the car out..
:D
So i was able to get immense satisfaction by driving my lowly liberty in and pulling the car out..

and they say KJs arent jeeps!!

ehehhee

LOLL !! Yeah, my friend (who has bought a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab and 6 feet box) was looking at my Jeep and he told me: "My truck can go throught a lot more then you crap does" (He is totally sold out GMC and everything else is crap to him) ... So i told him, yeah you got ground clearance over me, by about an inch max. Yeah, you got power over my 3.7L, he has the 5.3L i think. But you know you cant get up that small ditch in front of your house because you have zero angle of attack, he winked back. Then again, your truck is new right ? Mind if i make a scratch in the passenger's door just for the fun of it ? He said "WTF" !! I replied, i dont mind a small one. Then again i added, what if you hit the crappy plastic underneath your bumper where the fog lights are ? It'll look real crappy right ? So you dont want to break that ? Humm, if i really look at all the things you dont want to break or loosen ... you might just want to keep your Mr.Universe on paved roads cause that's about the farthest your willing to ride your buttugly gas guzzler. If you dont want to do anything with it then there is no freaking way your truck will ever go places my Liberty wont go ... Wanna take a ride ? I'm heading in the 4 wheeler's trail at the end of the 2nd street around the corner ?

He never talked about his truck being better offroad then my KJ so far ;)

we've got this little off road playground kinda area right near where I live, and there was a new Z71 and an older wrangler on 33's or so, large man tires.. I was on my way to the house to drop off a load of groceries.. just minding my own buisness with the windows down and the music going..

I see the wrangler without it's doors and top off, staring at me as I passed and I noticed the guy driving said something and the girls started laughing..

well.. not knowing, but kinda having an idea that he just dissed my liberty, I pile onto the brakes and take the little "entrance" to this area where they were- he seen me make the turn and he came down there and was watching me..

after mowing through the giant water puddle down there throwing muddy water all over the liberty, he takes off over this rather steep hill.. I sat and watched as he struggled a bit, I could tell he was having trouble because the rig was bouncing as the tires were searching for traction.

he makes it up over, his buddy in the Z71 takes the easy route, and they go park over the hill in a seperate section of the playground.. it's like he was taunting me.. seeing if I'd follow.

I creep over there, throw it in 4HI, and I mowed straight up that hill that he was having trouble with.. didn't loose traction at all. theres a steep drop off on the other side and I just bounced down, seen them staring at me, I cut a couple donuts in the clay, and then crawled up the side of the hill right next to them and got onto the road, where I stuck it back into 2WD and punched it, throwing the clay off the rear tires, followed by tire smoke- as I picked up speed, there was clay flying all over the place from the tires.. they stick out past the fenders so it really gets to flying lol..

didn't see em laughing after that.. haven't seen them out there since either eek2.gif

didn't even break the eggs after all that!

I have had to pull my buddy's Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 out of mud two times now. He used to talk smack but not so much now :D

Before I went to Moab, I told a guy at work about the trip and he gave me all kinds of flack about not being able to do any fun trails up there, because I have a chick jeep (he has a Dodge 1500 4x4). I sent him a link to my Moab photos and now he just thinks I'm crazy.

Dodge 1500 couldn't even get on the trails up here. Too long a wheel base, trails too narrow... that's why you never really see them go offroad here.

The dude with the 1500 doesn't wheel it. He just thinks it is the most bad ass thing on the street. Nothing could compare to the offroad prowess of his rig, or at least that is what he would tell you :D
