Sirius Sportster owners

Who all on here has a Sirius Sportster? The reason I am asking is I have been noticing that mine has been becoming very hot lately, to the point where the screen display is distorting until it cools down by holding it in front of the AC vent for a little while. Does anyone else have this issue? It has been hotter in Phoenix, but I keep it out of the sun while parked and when driving I have AC up full blast. I really like the unit, but this has me a little concerned.

I can tell you that my Starmate-R runs hot, but not so hot that it distorts the screen. You might want to get a replacement while it's still (hopefully) under warranty.

Yeah it's still under warranty. I guess I need to go to Best Buy soon.

Switch to a Sportster 4. It runs MUCH cooler.

I wish that was an option, but I've got other mods that I want first. It's alright though, I've got it positioned so the A/C keeps it pretty cool now.
