I guess they are all left open, but I had quite the build up inside of dirt etc.
As winter approaches, I had thought of a patch of duct tape inside LOL
I wonder if I could find a rubber grommet somewhere?

Is yours open like this? I wonder why they would not put a grommet in there or maybe they did?

My 06 and 07 have an oblong hole there with no grommet, the ABS wire harness is routed through it.
The passenger side has the same hole but in a slightly different location.
Napa should have something to fit.

You have a non ABS model, eh. I have a box of different sized plastic body plugs that I got for cheap at J.C. Whitney years ago. See if maybe you can find some at your parts store.

could get some rubber sheets, cut it to size and glue it on.
Or even something plastic for a more permanent solution?

Thanks for the replies guys. I just tried a 1" rubber cap I had laying around. Too big.
It probably is 5/8th or 3/4 hole. I just tried some temp patch work.
If I can't find plugs it may not be so temporary & then will have to use silicone on around circumference of patch.
Not fair- the other side also has the dang hole too...
There is tons of crud below that hole too & starting to rust inside..ahhh..more work and it is hard to reach in there.

No time for guess work. Going to have to make do until I come across a proper fit plug.
This will last a while now...sealed now is good... paint is tomorrow.

Well we got Canadian Tire,Princess Auto,Lordco,Napa,Home depot for mega hardware,Home Hardware(ya notice the word home-ly) & a bunch other auto places...
When I am around Napa next will see if they got anything, not going to go out of my way at this point..to search for them..got too many other things & wheels to look after right now.
Silicone dried in 3 hours and this should hold up until plugs are found! Looks ok..paint not dry yet though.

Not the mountains.
Slightly off topic: You might want to cut the notches in your bumpstops so the grease zerks on your a-arms have somewhere to go.
