To get some gear up top. There is about 47" of room length wise so it works well
I swear with windows down, I could hear the bugs hitting the deflector.lol3.gif
Before I bought the new Coleman 6 man Instant up tent, I measured for it, but with a little force, it fit into the basket ok.
I like the fact that even with two coolers (coleman extreme) as long as you used block ice, u were good for 4 days.
With the KJ, I like that you can leave the coolers in the back and it is easy to access them at hip height to get into the coolers..nice!! rockon.gif
Not a perfect alignment for the basket when viewed from above.
It is really hard to tell the alignment from the ground when u secure it on the cross bars.
But what ever, it works, and the provided clamps makes it really tight and secure.
Takes about 10 minutes if u want to remove it.
Keep in mind it is steel so it is relatively heavy @42lbs, can hold up to 130lbs.
When I am not needing it, I often remove it...
Oh ya I picked up a 1080p dash cam ...:icon_idea:
This is still my favorite photo of the KJ.
