Stayed the weekend at Rausch Creek and wheeled the crap out of my KJ. It was a good time! Side steps are now MUCH less pretty. They'll need to come off
It was myself, LOST member DoubleK, a red KK, a blue Xterra, and a silver LJ.
Saw lots of sweet rigs! The most frequent comment I heard was "You have balls of steel bringing a stock KJ here". I bumped quite a few rocks with my side rails, but aside from that, I never got stuck, high centered, or broke anything on rocks
Anyways, the pics are in no particular order from the weekend.
It was pouring when we got up today (Sunday) and I saw all of these guys. Not sure if they were a group or if they were going to the rock races. There were about 15 rigs together.
Our group:
B.A. Disco who was rolling with another disco (female driver!) and a sweet ass Defender. This was right before this rig pulled the Defender from mud up to his doors.
Some sweet LJ flex and stuffage. His spring was loose in these flexes lol
His back tire in this shot was actually about 1-2 inches off the ground.
OME, I believe.
Oh yeah, and we needed wood so I did some landscaping
Hooked up my tow strap to a pretty dry and dead looking tree and ripped that sucker from the ground. Dragged it back to the camp site and presto! Fire wood.
