I've had a few strange problems lately. No crank. Fuel pump not running. Etc. What I found was nothing was wrong with the hardware. As in the no start. At first, I thought it was with the key mechanism. What I found was the Starter relay. I replaced it and it's been fine. When I checked the old relay, everything tested OK. With the Fuel Pump issue, I found it was the computer wasn't sending a ground to the relay. I pulled the 3 plugs, sprayed contact cleaner in them and reconnected. In both cases, the contacts looks clean but cleaning/resetting fixed the problems.
I'm planning on pulling all of my relays and spray cleaning the sockets. So, before you get too involved ( I actually cut open the floor to get to my Fuel Pump to find that it was working fine), check your relays and plugs first.
