Radiator Install

I am getting ready to replace my radiator in my 2006 KJ. Do I really have to remove the bumper & radiator grill?

Some of you have referred to the battery tray. I am not sure that mine is in the way but the relay/fuse box in front of it might be?

Also I may hook up the radiator trans cooler at the same time. Back in the day I have routed transmission cooling lines with fuel line and hose clamps... Does that still work?

I appreciate that! I searched but clearly I didn't go far enough. Haynes 2002-04 book says to remove bumper & radiator grille, this "how to" showed that it wasn't needed on an 05.
