Hey everyone. New to the forum. I had a few questions regarding my KJ. I drive an '02 KJ that is pre-lowered. Here in the next few days, I will be purchasing a set of Cragar soft 8's. I really enjoy seeing a nice set of soft 8's on a lifted Liberty. Unfortunately, due to money and my fathers reluctance to play with the suspension, the chances of a lift kit in my future are slim to none. Although, my KJ is pre-lowered and sits higher than every Liberty I see around town even though it's 9 years old and I'm sure has sagged a bit. My question is, will my KJ still have a fairly aggressive looking stance though it's not lifted. I haven't seen a stock suspension with black soft 8's. I might possibly be able to do a Clevis lift in the front to level it.

Just have to make sure you stay at 7 inches wide and as close to original on the backspacing so they don't rub. Not a lot of room when you add wider wheels etc
Just for S&Gs whats yours measure from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare?

The measurement from the bottom of the fender flare in the front is 17.5 inches (front of tire) and 18.5 inches (back of tire). Then on the back, 17.25 (front of tire) and 18.25 (back of tire) And I am going with the soft 8's with the 4" backspace. I like the wider stance. I have read with the 16x7 soft 8 with 4"inch backspace on a 235/70/16 tire that you will have minor rubbing most noticeably on the pinch weld. But only when hitting rather large bumps. But, this was noted on a 2003-present KJ. Theoretically the pre-lowered +1 inch should help a bit.
