Bennett, just a little feedback about the website, hopefully you can wrangle some time to look into these problems, I also have no idea if I'm the only one experiencing these problems.

... keep in mind I'm telling you this not as destrctive critisism, but because I love the site so much I want to see it be as good as I know it can.

Recent Problems

I've been having a lot of problems lately connecting to jeepkj.com, mainly since you've switched servers. Clicking links (browsing around) will often result in this error
The operation timed out when attempting to contact www.jeepkj.com

Most recently I got another, more detailed, error...
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/rjeepkjc/public_html/forums/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/rjeepkjc/public_html/forums/db/mysql4.php on line 330

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/rjeepkjc/public_html/forums/db/mysql4.php on line 331
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

Often when I "read new messages since last visit" I'll read the first few messages off the list, then I'll choose another (by clicking the little orange "page" symbol) and it'll go to a new page with
"no new messages since last visit"
so I click "back" and none of the mesasages are in the list anymore, so much for reading all the new stuff, I don't know what's new anymore??

yo 4factor...

yeah...the timing out, and sql problems have been up and about the last few weeks. Bennett has been on the wire with the new hosts, and they have been giving him the run around to say the least.

the last one you listed is new, and it's probably in line with the sql problems.

and it is quite friggin frustrating....

Yep, no prob. We can only fix the things we know are broken. Can't fix it if we don't know it's broken... unless you're me... and electronics. Some new gadgets that certainly aren't broken sometimes need a little fixing anyways (or at least taking them apart to mess around with) (whistle)

Earlier today there was problem connecting to the DB..
And until yesterday the site was painfully slow.
I am not sure if you rebooted or did something it is back and good now.

Who is hosting the site?
