Hello All-
I have a strange problem with my 2004 Jeep Liberty 3.7. It is leaking power steering fluid from the passenger side. I confirmed the leak was power steering fluid by adding some UV dye to the reservoir. The most confusing thing is that I am unaware of any power steering components on the passenger side that are more towards the rear than the rack and pinion.
If you are under the Jeep with your feet out the front, looking on the passenger side, the fluid was dripping down from a freeze plug (next to the drain plug), all over some sensor, down the lip of the oil pan and on to two small metal pipes which bend around (I'm not sure what these pipes are). I tried my best to take a picture. There was no sign of leak anywhere else. Any thoughts?
