The wife and I headed out for the first off-roading in our new KJ. It would have been a better trip with a group but we still had a good time and the KJ did great!

You wouldn't think the signs are really needed.

We topped the day off with a trip through the car wash to knock the dust off.

Arizona or newmexico?Kinda reminds me of Ship rock in Newmexico.

Actually, it's California. We live in Arizona but this area is just across the state line in California, west of Yuma, AZ. The "Pavement Ends" sign is where Ogilby Road (S-34) meets Interstate 8 about 15 miles from Yuma.

I miss New Mexico too. We were stationed there from 1990 to 1997. Talk about some great road trips! One of our favorite areas was the Mogollon Rim.

Sweet! Thanks Sandracer for the photos! (Cheers)

I like a little alone exploring myself. Just take it easy, and look around.
